Extending the Reach of LyX

Post by graham56 »

I have used LaTeX for many years and have recently begun using LyX as my editor. I think LyX is an ideal platform for extending the reach of LaTeX to managing the project of document development.

yWriter is a word processor and project development software for novelists. It allows TeX documents to be exported. It shows how I believe LyX could be extended to provide essential project control during document development and writing.

NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.

And: Currently, Packt sells ebooks for $4.99 each if you buy 5 of their over 1000 ebooks. If you choose only a single one, $9.99. How about combining 3 LaTeX books with Python, gnuplot, mathplotlib, Matlab, ChatGPT or other AI books? Epub and PDF. Bundle (3 books, add more for higher discount): https://packt.link/MDH5p

Hi,

perhaps have a look at www.lyx.org and directly contact the LyX developers, if you have suggestions for new features.
