Hi!
My request is very useless and simple but I would like to know if there's a mode to control the space between a paragraph and an equation. For example, when I write an equation full of \frac, there's a lot of space between usual text and the equation.
It's only my esthetical maniac, but if there's a mode, please tell me. Thank you!

I'm quite sure that Section 11.5.1 of the excellent »Math mode« document will answer all your questions in this regard.
