revtex4-1 | "widetext" Environment

Post by juliette »

Hi everyone,
I'm using LyX 2.0 with revtex 4.1.

Revtex has a widetext environment, which I need to use, but when I click on the environment tab (in the top left corner, right underneath the 'File' button, widetext isn't available as an option.

Does anyone know a way around this ?
Can I not just type \begin{widetext} in the LaTeX source below my LyX window ??

Cheers,
Juliette

No one knows ?
It's been almost a year since I posted this, and I came across this problem again. I googled "widetext environment lyx" and this post was the FIRST page that came up ... I was happy to see someone else was asking for the same thing as me, then I noticed it was me that posted this question in the first place !

It would be really helpful if someone could help me out =)

I got the widetext environment to work by explicitly inserting the Tex code \begin{widetext} and \end{widetext} around the equation. Tex code can be inserted by selecting "Insert -> Tex Code" from the menu bar.
