Page Layout ⇒ Wrong Section Title in the Header

Hi everyone,

thank you for considering this. I am experiencing problems with my LaTeX files that I generated with the word processor LyX - using the document class book (Springer svmult). As it is the first time for me, working with LaTeX, I am facing two problems concerning the visualization after the final compilation, that I hope you can help me with:

• I still have trouble with the automatically generated header, it says “contents” on all the pages and does not show the section titles
• The other bug is the reference section. For some reason, the used bib style (spphys.bst) does not show the title for some of the sources – whenever they are “Journal Papers” – even though the information is properly contained in the bibtex library. If possible I would like to even not display the URLs.

I generated a generic example file that contains the errors. I am attaching both the lyx doc (extension not allowed to upload), the *.pdf and the exported *.tex file, including bst. (not allowed to upload) and bibtex file to this posting.

If you could please give me feedback on these points, I would be very glad. The problem may be caused by LyX but eventually should be detectable and correctable in the .tex file output, right?

You can always put files with not allowed suffixes into a RAR or ZIP archive and attach this. Hence you can also put all needed files into one single archive and attach this (as long as this doesn't exceed the size limit of 256KB for a single attachment).
