Error with Command for ToC

Post by trashmaster »

Hello everybody!

First I have to say I'm totally new to LaTeX and LyX. I want to use LyX to write my masters thesis.
I installed MiKTeX (full) and LyX and havent made any adjustments to the programm at all.
Now I'm trying to get used to the basic functions, and when adding a TOC via the "insert"-menu and then try to view the document as a pdf I get the following error message:
LyX-ToC-Error.png
LyX-ToC-Error.png (18.59 KiB) Viewed 1191 times
The document doesnt contain any code, just some chapters and sections.

I want to use the "report (KOMA-Script)" document class. (A friend of mine recommendet this)
With "book (KOMA-Script)" the DVI works, but not with any article or report class.

I would be thankful for every hint. Am I missing something important when using LyX? I don't really know what I have to look for here...

PS: Sorry for the probably bad english...

EDIT: After playing around for a few hours I found the compiled .exe-installer of the new 2.0.1 version of LyX, and voila, the error is gone! Seems to be a bug in LyX 2.0.0.3 (in combination with my system probably) which I've been using before.
