multicol | Detect Column Break

Post by andreabm »

Hello all,

I'm new at the LaTeX community, and I'm using the package "multicol" to generate a double column form, and I'd like to know if it is possible to detect when there is a column break and execute a specific action when that happens.

I'd like to detect when contents of a same section are split in different columns, so I could put a tag "continues..." at the bottom of the first column, and a tag "... continued" at the next column's top.

Does anyone knows if that's possible? Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
