Bibliography without initial Numbers

Post by melina »

Hello,

is it possible to make a bibliography without initial numbers? As a citemark I want to have the name of the author, year and the page too. Looking in google and this forum did not help. thanks for your help!

e.g: (wrong):
...exampletext[1] ...

list of literature
[1] author 1, additional information
[2] author 2, ...

(expected):
...exampletext(author1,year,page)...

list of literature
author 1, additional information
author 2, ...

So I would prefer, if there are no square brackets at all.

NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.

And: Currently, Packt sells ebooks for $4.99 each if you buy 5 of their over 1000 ebooks. If you choose only a single one, $9.99. How about combining 3 LaTeX books with Python, gnuplot, mathplotlib, Matlab, ChatGPT or other AI books? Epub and PDF. Bundle (3 books, add more for higher discount): https://packt.link/MDH5p

I doubt you checked Google or this forum since I have given this answer quite a lot by now, but anyway:

Have a look at bibstyles.pdf. A lot of BibTeX styles are shown there.
