LyX ⇒ Set up Page Margins

Hello I am using Lyx module : report and i am trying to fix the page margins manually but i cant !!!

I Have a title in my document and i want to put it higher into the page beacuse with the default margin is in the middle of the page

I am going to Document>settings>page margins > unchecking default and trying then to fix mannually the margins but the title still being in the middle of the page and dont go higher

Any ideas whats going wrong ? As module i use report .. is it this the reason why i cant fix the margins ?

Hi,

do you really mean the page margins or the position of the title? Compare the normal text content, to see if the margin is ok. If it's just the distance of the heading or the title to the top of the page, let us know in detail.

I'm sorry i mean the position of the title I'd like to be higher

I think that in the report module the title cant go higher . It's default is in the middle of the page(?)
