Document Classes ⇒ beamer | Theme Modification

Hi,

I really like the theme Dresden, but was wondering if there is a quick fix/edit for removing the lower, subsection header and the top footer? i.e., Both the header and footer have two levels/banners and I would like to remove to inside ones. Any ideas?
