LaTeX Programming

Post by latex123 »

Hi,

Could someone point to the literature that explains the latex engine model and commands that are available through its kernel. I read 'Not so short intro to latex' and it is great, but it only allows me be in a role of a pilot when working with latex. I see a lot of latex .sty files that use commands that I have never seen before and want to learn more on that. where does one learn of these commands? Is there a manual?

I want to be able to design my own templates, classes etc.

Thank you in advance,

If you are interested in experimental LaTeX3 programming, check out the documented sources of the l3kernel packages.
