Hello,
I have been writing my thesis in 3 different machines, having my latex projects in a network drive. I have been having broken project issues lately and it was until very recently that I discovered that one of these machines is running Miktex 2.8 (it was the reference list that made it obvious, because in miktex 2.8 there was a point showing the page that the reference was made one, whereas in 2.7 (package cite) this was not happening).
Anyway, in order to avoid such issues in the future, is there an easy way to downgrade Miktex from 2.8 to 2.7?
(I am guessing that the option of uninstalling and installing a previous version always exists)
Thanks

MiKTeX 2.7 is not available anymore. If you can't do it by yourself, ask the responsible administrator(s) to do a full installation of MiKTeX 2.9 on every machine.
