What does this mean?

Three concerns regarding your question.
  1. The topic title is meaningless, thus absolutely inappropriate.
  2. The problem description is absolutely inappropriate.
  3. A single error message without the producing source is absolutely useless.
A concrete answer to your question is that at line 242 in the source of your document there is an align* environment with an extra curly brace as delimiter. So, check your code at this critical line. That's all that can be said from this poor information.
