Hey people!
I'm a biology student and I will start to write my diploma thesis soon. That I want to try with Latex. So I hope to get some informations and good help here :-)

A big project like a thesis might not be the right one to start with LaTeX. Do some smaller documents before to gain some experience. Take a look at useful resources for novices [1]. Your thesis will occupy most of your time so that arising problems and their solution could jeopardize your roadmap. Nevertheless, good choice.
