Picture above Title on the Title Page

Post by Andre053 »

Hi,

i work with LyX, and try to make a title page. How I insert a picture over the title on the same page? Maybe someone has a good tutorial?

Thx
Andre

Picture above Title on the Title Page

The standard classes explicitly avoid this since it will usually be an accident rather than a desired result if a picture floats above the title. I suggest that you create your own title page typesetting title, date and author from hand (omitting LaTeX' \maketitle) and insert your picture wherever you want it. I think this is the fastest and least cumbersome way to achieve your goal.

I'm using pdfTeX, Version 3.1415926-1.40.10 (TeX Live 2009/Debian).
