do you seen this error yet ? I'm installing the TexLive2010, had message error "perl.exe is stopped working" and break out the install.
I need help, thanks so much !
(I installed by DVD file iso with UltraISO, OS WINDOWS 7)

I have the same error as timberlake520.
I try a network installation but the same error appears.
I read and follow the step-by-step instructions.

oh I forget to write that this error appears - on my systems - only on a 32 bit Windows 7. On a 64 bit system everythink works fine.
