Using \hfill with linguex

Post by Bartosz_W »

\hill simply does not work with glossed examples using the popular linguex package. While the placement of \hfill will correctly flush the following text right in a simple \ex. environment as below

Code: Select all

\usepackage{linguex}
\begin{document}

\ex.
example \hfill (Italian)
it fails to do so in the \exg. environment:

Code: Select all

\exg.
example \hfill (Italian) \\
gloss\\
\flushright or placing the material to be glossed in {} or playing with \\ seems to fail either. Interestingly, \hspace{} in lieu of \hill does work in this case, though it obviously doesn't give you what you want. Any idea?
Hey, I know you. You work at the hardware store.
