I'm trying to create a latex doc. but when When my file.tex is build with quickbild it finishes with problems.

Hi sherlock,

I cannot see big problems inside your logfile, just some warnings and information.
If the logfile ends with those lines Missing character: There is no à in font cmr12!... then I could imagine that there's a problem with font encoding. Try this line inside your preamble:

In addition, I see, at least, the following problems:

In the preamble you are surely writting something like \fancyhead[RO,LE]{...........} or \fancyfoot[RO,LE]{...........}. The E and O here means "even" and "odd" pages, that is, left-hand and rigth-hand pages. This has sense in a two-sided document. In a onesided document, as is a report, by default, there are only right-hand pages. So a directive concerning the lef-hand ones (i.e. the "even" ones) has no sense. Either add twoside as an option of \documentclass or remove E and O from your heading and footer settings.

You are putting something a little big in the heading. There is no room there. So increase it following the hint the above message provides. To this end, add headheight=15pt in the optional argument of the \usepackage command that loads geometry. Equivalently, put in the peamble

You are also loading the subfigure package, which is obsolete and has been superseded by the subfig package. You can download its manual from this link.

Concerning the warnings about overfull and underfull \hbox, it is neccessary to see the exact code in order to fix them. Anyway, if you are still writting a draft version of your document, don't spent too much time on it, since any change you make in the text can modify the situation.

Hi Stefan_K,

the error caused because i did

sudo apt-get install texlive-full

after i installed this my latex did'nt work and always give that error

i uninstall that and the problem was fixed.
