References in other languages

Post by magali »

Hello,
I am writing a document in Portuguese (Brazil), and I am using the Natbib Author-Year citation style.
I would like to know if there is a way to translate the way citations are made. I mean this for the text body, not the references at the end of the document.
For example, this is how it comes in the text:

"Yang and Swanson (2007) ...."

And what I would like is something like:

"Yang e Swanson (2002)" or "Yang & Swanson (2002)",

which would be the equivalent expression in Portuguese.

Is it possible to do this?

Thank you.

Did you check out the babelbib package yet?
I'm using pdfTeX, Version 3.1415926-1.40.10 (TeX Live 2009/Debian).
