General ⇒ unable to open the initial device quitting in latex

Hi Folks

I am getting the error shown below when I compile my latex code in TeXnic center.

*** Unable to open the initial device, quitting.

Generally it occurs after a few compilations but now when I upgraded my adobe reader to 10.0, I am having this problem every time I compile. So I have to close my PDF every time manually before compiling which is a little bit annoying. Does anyone has a solution for this problem
