Text Formatting ⇒ wideslide in powerdot

I wish to not have the table of contents down the slide using powerdot and wished to specify a wideslide - but this doesnt work and i get an error. How can I get rid of the TOC and just have a slide formatted like a title slide???

Also, when running powerdot i get a preamble page at the beginning before the title slide - how can i remove this??
