Enounce twice the same Thm/Prop

Post by Yrg »

Hello,

I would like to know whether it is possible or not to enounce a Theorem in Latex and then to re-enounce it later, keeping the same labelling. The thing is that I enounced a Theorem in a chapter of my dissertation and intended to give the proof later in the appendix. I then would recall its statement first, but logically, latex thinks it is a new theorem and then does not keep the number of the previously enounced one.

Is my question clear or should I give more details?

ps: english is not my first language so be indulgent, please

Enounce twice the same Thm/Prop

Here are two questions posted at the {TeX} SE site which may help you:
(BTW, I know English is not your first language, but "renounce" means something like "reject" or "deny", which is apparently not what you mean, and re-enounce is not a word at all, so be careful with your vocabulary: just a friendly tip.)

Thank you very much, I'll check it out, but it seems exactly to be what I was looking for ! (so "re+verb" can give unexpected results in english apparently, sorry about that  and thanks for correcting me by the way)
