Hello,
I have downloaded the last version of lyx along with everything needed (like MikTex). But when I'm writing on lyx the characters seem to stack/overlap on each other while when I compile the file it appears normal in pdf. What should I fix?

UPDATE: This was solved by installing the latest version 1.6.9 using the standard installer. I had originally installed using the altermative windows installer, which includes version 1.6.8
