Hi,
I am using version 1.6.8 for Mac and have encountered the following error as of today (without having made any significant changes, AFAIK). Whenever I try to export my document as a PDF-file, I get the following error message:
File does not exist:
/var/folders/yc/yc3nJh1tH-qvtL-y+TIE1++++TI/-Tmp-/lyx_tmpdir.xJL336/lyx_tmpbuf0/dissertation.pdf
I've googled a bit and the issue has been reported elsewhere as well as in this forum, but I have not been able to solve it. I would appreciate any suggestions.

I've re-installed Lyx and tried to locate the folder that the error message points to (unsuccessful). Still not working...

Alright, I managed to solve the problem by deleting and rewriting the preamble...

I'm facing the same problem. The funny thing is that I have several lyx files and the problem occurs only to a specific one. How did you solve the problem? I didn't quite well understand. I don't want to delete and rewrite things... Thanks!
