TeXnicCenter updates

Post by vserghi »

Hi all, I am a very happy user of TeXnicCenter, but looking at the home page, the program has not been updated since June last year.

This forum is proof that it is still actively used, so I was wondering, as now one else has asked, will there be any updates to this program?

Yes, there will be updates -- the project is still active.

The problem is only that those who are responsible for the most part of TeXnicCenter (as i.e. Tino and me) do not have much time any more for developing TeXnicCenter and we did not find new developers, though TeXnicCenter is open source.

But some changes have been made in the last months and I guess we will be able to provide an update in spring.
