vertically center abstract

Hi,

Could someone please tell me how can I center the "abstract" (or any text) of an article vertically on the page?

You can use a combination of the \vspace and \fill commands:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{blindtext}

\begin{document} 

\vspace*{\fill}

\begin{abstract}
  \blindtext
\end{abstract}

\vspace*{\fill}

\end{document}
1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144,233,...

Alone in its own page? Try this:

\mbox{}\vfill\abstract{......} \vfill\\mbox{}\newpage
