Hi Latex community,
does anybody know whether it is possible to do spell checking of latex source files with TexnicCenter in a way that it avoids the keywords in the brackets after latex commands (i.e \includepackage{packageX} ) ? The spell check continuously complains about my file names etc. and in principle it should be straightforward to let it ignore all the stuff in the brackets....possibly with the exception of headings and captions....Still not really a solution for Texniccenter, so if anybody knows a way to do it, feel free to add it here!
Is there such a way?
Cheers

If you Google "latex spell check" you will get lots of options of varying quality and price (I hope you don't mind going out of TeXnicCenter just to spell check; usually one only needs to spell check at one point in the writing process). A free and particularly straightforward one is http://www.microspell.com/fixmytypos.html.

Cheers John for your reply!
It would have been great if that would have worked in Texniccenter, as the "check as you type" way in my opinion is the most efficient. But I got convinced that Texniccenter does not provide the option not to check Latex commands. My solution was to switch to TexworkX which seems to handle this.
