Please I need your help, I'm completely freaking out!
I'm wirting my bachelor thesis with LyX (2.1.0) right now and today LyX crashed in the moment i clicked to save.
That happend before and was never a big problem. But now Lyx won't open my file anymore. everytime I try the whole program chrashes again.
It is still opening other files though... I tried moving the file to another folder and renaming it, nothing helps.
What can I do? Please help me:(

LyX chrashes while opening my file
Did you make a backup copy? Without a backup, it's a risk to lose all, with any program.
First make a copy of the folder befor any other tries, to keep what is left. Then look for
Also, if you are lucky, the .lyx file may still contain your content. You could post it here, as attachment, so we could examine it.

*.lyx~ files or #*.lyx#. If you are lucky, you may find automatically made backups there. Open with a text editor to see what's in those files or in the orignal .lyx file now.Also, if you are lucky, the .lyx file may still contain your content.
