Re: Hello Im also new
I've lived 11 years in Tilburg!
I studied in Nijmegen though. Did my thesis computer science in Wordperfect 5.1 for Windows....long time ago....after that I started to learn Latex (on Linux 0.99 pl5...in 1994)....if I would have known Latex before I guess it would have saved me 1-2 months writing my thesis....but I haven't used Latex for the past 10 years....just downloaded it again last week....now using MikTex on Windows.
I really love Latex!
I've just ordered a box with 4 Latex books (http://www.amazon.com/LaTeX-Companions- ... 0321514432)....anxiously waiting till it arrives
Good luck with your thesis!

Just a little comment: you should notice that \Large (as well as all the other font size switches) does not take arguments, so you should useHypnosiS wrote:\textbf{\Large{Thank you very much}}
Code: Select all
\textbf{\Large Thank you very much}Re: Hello Im also new

The thing is I broke my laptop and my latex gone. I must find a way to install a latex to PCs of school. There is program called Scientific Workplace but I like to write with latex. Do you guys know how to write with this program like LaTeX?
