Error: Could not start the command

Post by WanSuhana »

Dear friends,

I have a problem to display my latex to pdf form. My text studio display this message,
Error: Could not start the command: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" "C:\Users\user pc\Desktop\MyProposal\Proposal_13\thesis.pdf"

In other words, the external viewer of the latex cannot be appeared.

What should I do? If this problem cannot be solve, how can I submit my proposal to my university. Please help me..

Error: Could not start the command

Hello WanSuhana!

Don't worry, I'm sure it can be fixed.

Check that:
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe exists
  • C:\Users\user pc\Desktop\MyProposal\Proposal_13\thesis.pdf exists
  • TeXstudio can compile the document, so no errors
Which other error message do you get? Please attach the .log file here, that is, Desktop\MyProposal\Proposal_13\thesis.log.
