Every time I save a file, say test.lyx, LyX creates several other files. For instance test - 116120.lyx, test-a22572, ....
What does it mean? how can I avoid it? My LyX version is 2.2.1

Creating several files of Lyx
What is your operating system? Are the files created and then immediately deleted or do they stick around even after you exit LyX? Are the files created in the same directory as the .lyx file that you're working on?
