TeXlive editor recommendation

Post by Alexandros81 »

Hi! I finally installed TexLive 2016 on windows 7 64-bit.
I am writing a book related to space science. I need info on how i format the text and basically how i get started in Latex.
TexLive has Texworks and i am using it for the last 20 minutes. I cannot figure out how to place text in the center of document.
Should i be using Texwork to type my book?

And: Currently, Packt sells ebooks for $4.99 each if you buy 5 of their over 1000 ebooks. If you choose only a single one, $9.99. How about combining 3 LaTeX books with Python, gnuplot, mathplotlib, Matlab, ChatGPT or other AI books? Epub and PDF. Bundle (3 books, add more for higher discount): https://packt.link/MDH5p

TeXworks is a quick, easy, and fast editor. I use it for all LaTeX documents.

Well, you need to learn something about LaTeX. A quick introduction is: lshort.
