elsarticle template

Post by humayunahmed »

Hello everyone!

I am a new user to Lyx and Latex in general. I wrote a paper on Lyx for a course I took last summer. I found it very useful. Now I am trying to write a paper using the elsarticle template provided by Lyx. I simply used the option "new from template".

I edited all the necessary sections however, I cannot get rid of the preprint at the footer on the first pate. Also, some section names appear to duplicate on the header.

Is there anyway an ametuer like me can get rid of the preprint, I am sure it is not required during article submission?.

Regards,

Why are you sure of that? Perhaps the preprint expresses the idea that your article has not yet been accepted for publication?
