How much space is needed for installing MacTex?
I tried installing Latex to my Macbook Air. It says I need 5GB space??? Why on earth does it need so much space? It is impossible because my Macbook is limited.

Documentation of packages takes up most space. You don't have to install it, it is your choice.
If not installed, you have to access the docs over the internet.
