General ⇒ Cannot find style class

Hello,

I am new to Latex and has never used it before. I want to use acmtrans2e class (or style) and acmtrans.bsb.

I have downloaded the package from ctan.org

And now I have a folder named acmtrans With 5 files. I copied this folder into:

C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2.9\tex\latex

Do I need to do something else before I can use this style?

Im using Texstudio and when I refer to this style
\documentclass{acmtrans2e}

I get a error Message and it says emergency stop?

It seems like I have to update the texstudio. But how do I do that? Or is it something else I have done wrong.

Welcome, why are you even moving the files? There is no need. Just use the downloaded folder as your working directory in your home directory.
