No counter subfigure save defined

Post by kaleras45 »

Hello,
I am writing my PhD thesis in Lyx 2.1.6 with document class spimufcphd and I would like to make figures side by side (Fig.1 a ……Fig.1 b). When I tried to open a document (compiled fine there), it won't compile at all
with a heap of errors:
The problem: Latex Error: No counter 'subfigure save' defined
Cordially

Recommended reading 2024:

LaTeXguide.org • LaTeX-Cookbook.net • TikZ.org

NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.

And: Currently, Packt sells ebooks for $4.99 each if you buy 5 of their over 1000 ebooks. If you choose only a single one, $9.99. How about combining 3 LaTeX books with Python, gnuplot, mathplotlib, Matlab, ChatGPT or other AI books? Epub and PDF. Bundle (3 books, add more for higher discount): https://packt.link/MDH5p

The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.

I must say I don't really understand your question.
When I tried to open a document (compiled fine there), it won't compile at all
Does that mean your document compiles file on one machine but doesn't on another? If yes then I suspect that at least on one of the machines you have an outdated TeX distribution.
