Encoding pages in Texworks

Post by spectorsky »

Hello,

I've novice in TexWorks (but not in LaTeX), because used Winedit until now. Trying to port on TeXWorks I've recognized that it is not suggested codepage cp866nav which I'm using for preparing my texts. I'm ready to add this cp manually, but I cannot find the directory contained codepages supported by TeXWorks. C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\MiKTeX\2.9\TeXworks\0.4\ contains some config info, but any codepage info isn't found.

Thanks in advance

I would convert all files to utf8, which is used by many many applications and is by now the standard.

It is really important, to make a full backup of your working project (just to be safe) and then recoding all the files.
The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.
