Presentations and Posters ⇒ Setting Background Color

I am using Jacobs Landscape Poster and am interested in a couple of things:

1. How can I change the background color of the poster either to a solid color or to a color gradient?

2. If I want to add a logo to the upper left and right hand corners, is there a way to do this without having to edit the .sty file?
