tuftle-book inside an report

Post by 73nismit »

Hi everyone, quick little question.
I need to know how to use the tufte-book documentclass inside a report. I'm using the report class for a paper and writing a log book in a tufte-book like this: http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/ ... ep-a-diary (first image in the comments). I have no idea how to do it. Currently I'm writing 2 separate files which is a pain in the ass. The log book needs to be in a chapter and need the page numering style from the report.

Is this possible?

Don't use tufte-book? You can use the definition provided in the answer in a report document as well. You might have issues with the margins though, most people the margins too small.
The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.

Thanx for the reply, I will take a look. The good thing is that it's not needed anymore, but I still want to know it for future projects
