Post by bbenes »

Hi there! I want to use docstrip or skdoc to eliminate comments on packages but I need a real example. Can anyone help me? Thanks. :?:

dtx files have the code in them as well as the documentation, generally speaking. In most cases, there is a file with the ending .ins on which you run tex to get the code stripped and written to a file.
It is hard to give a specific example on such a general matter.

What code are you trying to extract and more importantly why? Package managers should do it for you.
The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.
