when compiling the project a log file is being generated. can you tell me the path where this file is saved?
mine starts with:
-------------------- Ausgabeprofil: LaTeX -> PDF ------------------------
pdflatex> This is pdfTeX, Version 3.14159265-2.6.1.40.16 (miKTeX 2.9)
...

The log-file should be located in the very same folder with your tex-file and your bib-file.
