TeXworks ⇒ Texworks on virtual dekstop

Hello everyone, I read a lot the forum but never posted because I´v always found the answers by myself but now I need your help
I´d like to run an instance of TexWorks on a virtual server which I use at work and at home. Unfortunately when I install TexWorks it creates a folder in the C driver which is not accessible by me, only by the administrator. Do you know how to change the folder for setting and resources? Is there a way to locate in in an other partition than the one with windows system32?
