Hello everyone,
I´ve tried downloading MiKTeX from http://miktex.org/ a couple of times now and it isn´t working. I managed to save everything to a folder on my Desktop, but all the tutorials say that now I should open setup___.exe. I have searched the whole folder now and I can´t find any such file.
Could someone maybe tell me what the mistake could be or I there´s anything else I can try?

Problems downloading MiKTeX

i suggest to use the net-installer MiKTeX 2.9.4503 Net Installer to install a complete LaTeX-system.
An alternative to MikTeX would be TeX Live, which most helpers use. Right now, we are between versions, TeX Live 2014 is frozen in preparation for the next release, TeX Live 2015 coming next week or the week after.
