Help with border thickness

Post by snow23 »

Hi guys,

Absolute noob here. Forgive me..

I have a table which I would like a thicker border for ONLY the top most horizontal border and the bottom most horizontal border.

I've read the manual on embedded items but I couldn't achieve the look I was after.

Any suggestion would be very much appreciate!

Many thanks!

Recommended reading 2024:

LaTeXguide.org • LaTeX-Cookbook.net • TikZ.org

NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.

And: Currently, Packt sells ebooks for $4.99 each if you buy 5 of their over 1000 ebooks. If you choose only a single one, $9.99. How about combining 3 LaTeX books with Python, gnuplot, mathplotlib, Matlab, ChatGPT or other AI books? Epub and PDF. Bundle (3 books, add more for higher discount): https://packt.link/MDH5p

You should always show what you have tried by way of Infominimal working example. I have no idea what you mean by embedded items in the context of your problem.

Take a look at the booktabs package which will help you.

OS: Debian/GNU Linux; LaTeX System : TeXLive; Editor : Vim
