Theses, Books, Title pages ⇒ Can't compile the .tex

Hallo everybody,

I'm using MiKTex 2.9 0.4.5 r.1280 on win7 and I just can't compile the main.tex. The last two lines of the control output are

and multiple times the following sequence appears:

while LaTeX isn't compiling any more, I can only interrupt the process.
Having used LaTeX since January 2012, I know some basics, so I updated vector.sty and istpatch.sty with the package manager which wasn't any help.

Do you have some advice for me? I really have to know what causes this problem.

Hi Daniel,

I don't think the part of the log you pasted is what's causing the problem. Can you paste the last 10-20 lines once you hit the first error?

I am getting this error every time....is it due to some packages are missing or should i update some..

Hi Harish,

Yes, you are missing the listing package or yours is out of date. Just update your LaTeX distribution and packages and you should be good!
