Theses, Books, Title pages ⇒ Arabic page numbers in the whole template

In the template roman page numbers are used in the Contents page, List of Figure, List of Tables, Abstract and Acknowledgements. From the Introduction chapter onwards arabic numbers are used. I would like to be consistent and only use arabic numbers from the beginning till the end. This means that I want the Contents and all other mentioned pages with arabic numbers. Any ideas on how I can quickly modify this?

Hi,

To change the numbering of the front matter (the first pages of the thesis up to the dedication page) to arabic numbering, just comment out \frontmatter in main.tex. If you then want the page count to go up throughout the document you will also have to comment out \mainmatter and \backmatter.
