Splitting bullet point list across pages

Post by templateuser »

Hi,

Thank you very much for putting a template. There is one section of “Conferences and schools” in my CV, which list is long. If I use \begin{itemize}\end{itemize} this whole list goes to the next page, even though there is space on the current page which can accommodate at least half of the list. Could you please tell me how to take care of this issue?

Thank you very much.
Bhavin.

It's not just the list which cannot be broken and is moved to the next page as a whole. It's the complete cv entry.

It seems that on needs to make two cv entries in such a case so it can span across pages. That's also meaningful because on the next page the entry name / category text should be shown as well. Though you don't have an automatic splitting. But that's not too bad for a short resume, compared to longer documents such as articles or even books.
