formulas in Latex in film subtitles
I am a new member of the community and I faced a problem of making subtitles for lectures on Physics. They are written in Latex and have many formulas, which the lecturer actually says.
Could you please tell me if there is a program for subtitling latex.
Thank you.
Best,
Andrey

formulas in Latex in film subtitles
welcome to the forum!
I guess there's no package direct for this purpose.
However, check what format you can use. LaTeX produces PDF, PS or DVI, I guess you won't use this directly. Depending on your software, you might have to use pure text.
How do you produce the subtitles? With plain text? Then it's a problem with formulas anyway. Or can you put small graphics into the subtitles? In that case, you can produce for example PNG using LaTeX, for example small equation images using the standalone package.

I don't know either how you produce subtitles directly from latex. But if you insert graphics I would recommend using MyTexPoint. This yields the huge advantage, that you can produce those graphics directly with transparency.
