Custom code folding points

Post by wanderyak »

Hello

I searched the forum, but could not see any answer to this question:
Is there a way to define custom code folding points in TeXnicCenter?

I assume the points are usually defined by the code used, but they hardly seem to be placed at convenient points and look rather randomly distributed (i.e. I would like to fold the whole preamble until the \begin{document}. Is there a way to manually define them? Or at least any suggestions which dummy commands produce a new folding point?
I've been using TeXnicCenter for a few years now but now I am writing my thesis and would prefer to keep the visible code as low as possible. I know, I could use external files to keep the whole document ordered but that is not what I am looking for; besides I'm already doing that. I am really thinking about changing the editor if I can't find an answer to this...
