LyXReferences in PDF file

References in PDF file

Hello,

I am a new user of LyX.
I created label and reference to the label in Lyx, and I see them in LyX editor.
But, After update the PDF file I cant use them in the PDF.
what I do wrong?

Hi Roni,

welcome to the forum!

As not all of use use LyX, could you perhaps provide a LaTeX export of the LyX file? So we could analyze the issue using that one as well.

Hi,
Attach the lyX file, not sure how to export it to Latex.The reference is in the begining of Section 3

Hi and welcome. If i recall correctly, exporting to latex can be done somewhere in the far left drop-down menu.

One very important thing to note is, that the label has to be put after placing the section title or caption.
The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.

Hi,

It seems like the references are fine. They appear in the PDF file but cant be used with right click+CNTL as usual ...
I have the same problem with table of content :cry:

I am not quite sure what you mean. What do you expect to happen when clicking on a reference? Do you load package hyperref? I bet there is a button somewhere.

Document Settings> PDF Properties > check the box labeled Use Hyperref Support
