Math & Science ⇒ Numbering of reference list, bst mod

Hi there, I am struggling to figure out how to add numbering to the reference LIST generated by the ecology letters bst file (from http://schneider.ncifcrf.gov/latex.html eco_let.bst). They want a number, then a line break, then the reference. Even the author of eco_let.bst does not know how to add this.. I was wondering if it may be a quick fix for someone who understands bst files? Jitka
